chanadal n urad dal podi(for idli and dosa

Ingredients:

Urad dal : 2 cups
Chana dal : 1 cup
Red chilly : 5 nos
Asfoetida – 1/2 tsp
salt to taste

Method :

Heat the pan, add little oil and urid dal.
Fry it in medium flame until it becomes golden brown.
The same way fry the chana dal and red chillies separately.
Allow it to cool down and grind it in the mixie.
Then add salt and asfoetida and mix well.
Serve it with hot idlies or dosas.
