INGREDIENTS:

After cutting the fruit and slicing the red portion, peel the green skin and keep the white portion cutting these into small pieces.
Boiled dal-1 cup.( Toor dal or Moong dal)
Grated coconut- 1 cup.
Dry Red Chillies-2
Jeera -1/2 Tsp.
Salt to taste.
METHOD:
Boil the white pieces in two or three cups of water.
Meanwhile, grind the coconut with two red chillies and jeera into a slightly coarse paste.
Once the pieces get cooked(they will, very fast) add the boiled dal and cook for a few seconds. Add the ground coconut. Boil for a few seconds.
Garnish with mustard seeds and curry leaves.
U can take this with rice or with rotis. In case you are making a side dish for rotis, grind a few pieces of onion along with the coconut. And garnish with coriander leaves.
