Ingredients:

jaggery-1/2cup
fresh grated coconut-1/4th cup
rice flour-1/2cup(as required)
procedure:

Take a kadai, boil water(1/4cup)in it and add jagerry.
keep stirring the syrup until it starts becoming thick. take a little syrup and drop in water. you should be able to make it into a ball (unda pakam). at this time add grated coconut,and cook for few min till you get good flavour. now keep stirring and add little by little rice flour till it becomes into a smooth dough. you should be able to make it into a round ball. keep 1 cup more of rice flour to be on safe side. because some kinds of the jaggery may take more flour. at this point, add oil and mix well. cover it.
Heat oil in a kadai. take a plastic sheet and apply oil. take a small lemon sized ball of dough and press gently into 3inch rounds about 1/8" thick and drop it gently into oil. it will puff like a puri. fry it on both sides till they are brown in colour. remove and repeat the same with entire dough. these are delicious and nutritious snacks made in andhra style.
