Ingredients:

2 bunches of palak finely chopped
one medium size onion cut into cubes
2 green chillies chopped
few curry leaves
one teaspoon tamarind paste
sugar according to taste
salt
red chilli powder
haldi
rice flour 1tbsp
for tempering : mustard seeds, methi seeds, jeera, hing
Procedure:

wash palak well. take a bowl and add little water in it. Add onion cubes, green chillies and bring them to boil. Then add palak. once the palak becomes tender, add tamarind paste, sugar, salt, redchilli powder, haldi and mix well. meanwhile, take one table spoon of rice flour and mix it with little water. the consistency should be like dosa batter. once the palak is cooked properly, add this rice flour and mix it well. If you feel that the pulusu is very thick, you can add little water and bring it to boil. one boil is enough after adding rice flour. prepare popu by taking a kadai and adding little oil in it. add the ingredients mentioned for popu and then add it to the pulusu. mix everything well and switch off the stove. serve hot with hot rice and ghee.Good for health too....
