Apple jam

Ingredients:
Apples peeled and diced : 3 cups
Sugar : 1 cup
Lemon Juice : 1 1/2 t sp
Water : 2/3 cup
Saffron strings : 5
Procedure:

In a vessel, add water and sugar. Let it boil till the mixture is almost about
string consistency.
Now add diced apples and let it cook till water evaperates in it.
Add lemon juice and saffron strings and cook.
Let it become cool and store it in glass bottle and refrigerate.
